Meet near the south end of the parking lot at Harborage Marina, between the marina and the NOAA building. Help us out by using Kayaks or other tools to assist in removing up to 120lbs of debris twice a month.

Watergoat cleanups are crucial for maintaining clean water, protecting wildlife, reducing pollution, and fostering community involvement in environmental conservation. They are a simple yet effective way to combat the growing problem of water pollution and help ensure a healthier planet for future generations.
What will be availble:
- Buckets
- Trash Pickers
- Clean Gloves
- Mother Kombucha Sparkling Water
- Tarp & Tent with table
- Reef Safe Sunscreen Large Bottle
We will be in the sun, outside, and close to nature. Here are a few items you may want to bring with you.
Reccomended Preparedness:
- Bring a water bottle
- Bring a snack
- Wear SPF shirt, sunscreen, or a hat and glasses
- A small towel for personal use
- Bug spray
- If you get heated easiily, bring a fan
Volunteers will be provided clean gloves, trash pickers, buckets and GreenPoly trash bags for collecting trash, and debris along Bartlett Park. It's reccomended to bring your own items as needed because you will be outside and close to nature.
Agenda:
The event will kick off with a short welcome, passing out the gear needed. Torward the end of everyone collecting trash, a tarp will be placed down, and each bag of trash will inspected and be weighed to make an assessment of where this trash came from and what state of degradation it's in.
Water Warrior Alliance abides by The Escaped Trash Assessment Protocol (ETAP), developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Trash Free Waters program, is a quantitative survey tool which provides a standard method for collecting and assessing litter data.
Impact:
We use the data to measure the effectiveness of our cleanup campaigns. Tracking progress over time allows us to celebrate achievements and motivate our community to persist in their efforts. By actively participating in data collection and supporting Adopt a Watergoat, you become an integral part of our mission to create a cleaner, healthier environment for current and future generations. Together, we can turn data into meaningful action!
